حجامہ کا معنی ھے نشتر لگانا۔ یہ علاج سنت بھی ہے کیونکہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یہ عمل خود کیا ھے۔ حجامہ کو بعض ایسی امراض ہیں جن میں اس کا استعمال کیا جاتا ہے اس کو سینگیاں کھچوانا بھی کہتے ہیں۔
