The Quran is divided into 540 Rukus (sections) in total. These Rukus serve as natural divisions within the Quranic text, helping readers to pace their recitation and study. They are not uniform in length and vary in the number of verses they contain. The Quran is further divided into 114 Surahs (chapters), and each Surah consists of multiple verses, known as Ayat.
