  3. Yes, tattoos are Haram in islam. There are 2 main things first is that you have to pray 5 times a day and there should not be any self made mark like a tattoo on your skin. Second is that permanent tattoos dont come of by ordinary means and they cause you pain. Self inflicted pain is Haram in Islam.

  4. There is no explicit prohibition of tattoos in the Quran, which is the holy book of Islam, but some scholars argue that certain Hadith (sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad) suggest that tattoos are discouraged or prohibited.

  5. Yes, it is clearly prohibited due to the alteration of the features created by Allah. And its prohibition is explicitly mentioned in an authentic Hadith which is reported by Imam  Al-Bukhari in the wording:

عن عبد الله رضى الله عنه لعن الله الواشمات والمستوشمات والمتنمصات والمتفلجات للحسن المغيرات خلق الله.. الحديث

    meaning:

(Allah has cursed those women who practice tattooing and those who get it done for themselves, and those who remove hair from their faces, and those who artificially create spaces between their teeth to look beautiful, such women as alter the features created by Allah.)

In addition to that Allah swt has claimed in Quran that He has reated man in the best of stature, saying:

لقد خلقنا الإنسان فى أحسن تقويم
so seeking beautification by altering the innate features is a sort of claim against the Allah swt.
