Anything that is introduced in islam by anyone without any mention of it in the quran and hadith is called as bidat

Bidat is some act or practice that is introduced in religion and is not proved to be done or told by Quran, Sunnah or Hadith.
Biddah means innovation in Islam, initiating something without any precedent. There is no evidence in Quran and Sunnah to support it.
Innovation in Islam without any evidence is called bidah but some times it’s good but some times it’s bad so it has 2 kinds:
1: bidah hasana(good bibah)
2: bidah sayyiah(bad bidah)
Good means it’s not against Islam it’s also for promoting Islam and bad bidah means it’s against Islam and to degrade and decrease Islam…
