Google is a well known ad network that helps publishers generate income by showing ads on their website. These advertisements are tailored to fit with both your content and visitors based on bidding algorithms.
Many Muslim blogs rely on Google AdSense to display advertisements on their websites. Unfortunately, this can present a problem, as these advertisements could potentially be considered haram.
For instance, advertisements that promote gambling, cigarettes, alcohols and other things that are considered haram to Muslims can present a real problem for Muslim publishers as it could lead to serious trouble or even ban of their site.
If you are uncertain whether Google AdSense is Halal, take the time to read their policy page carefully and seek the opinions of credible Islamic scholars or experts who have studied this issue extensively. I have seen many Islamic scholars on YouTube they have AdSense accounts to generate revenue.
Finally, to successfully make money using AdSense you must abide by a few strict rules that guarantee your earnings are halal. These include your ads must be Halal and the content within them must also adhere to these same requirements.
As long as person is using adsense in a way that is consistent with these principal it should be halal for them to do.
It’s all upto user what he is looking for which make it halal or haram.
The permissibility of Google AdSense or any form of online advertising in Islam can be a subject of debate among Islamic scholars, as it depends on various factors and interpretations of Islamic principles. Some scholars may consider it permissible, while others may have reservations.
In Islam, earning money through lawful and ethical means is generally encouraged. However, there are concerns about the content of the ads and the nature of the website where the ads are displayed. If the ads promote or link to haram (forbidden) content, products, or services, or if they are displayed on a website that primarily promotes haram activities, it may be considered problematic from an Islamic perspective.
It’s essential to consult with a qualified Islamic scholar or a religious authority who can provide guidance specific to your situation and the nature of the ads and website in question. They can offer a more informed and personalized opinion on whether Google AdSense or similar advertising programs are halal or haram in your particular circumstances.
If your content goes against the rules & regulations of Islam, it is 100 % haram. But if your content is within the rules of Islam, then it may somewhere halal. In someschool of thoughts, it’s clearly permissible and in others, it is on the centre line between Halal & Haram. I’vs also seen many islamic blogs & youtube channels runs by Islamic Scholars which are monetized with adsense. However you should take advice from any Authentic Islamic scholar with your content.
According to some Islamic scholars, earning money from Google AdSense is permissible as long as the advertisements and the website do not contain anything that is unethical or impermissible in Islam, such as promoting interest-based banking, alcohol, gambling, pornography, or other vices. This is similar to advertising for a merchant through various means, as long as the merchant’s business is lawful and does not involve any harm or deception.

Explanation: The world’s largest search engine Google’s advertising program is called Google AdSense. To join this program, you must have your own personal website, on which you entrust Google with the responsibility of serving ads. Google does not charge advertisers for displaying ads on the site, but When someone clicks on this ad, they are charged a per-click fee and the revenue is split between the website and Google.
It should be noted that if the person who broadcasts advertisements on the website: 1. Broadcasts an advertisement with a photo of a person. 2. Or the ad contains music and music. 3. Or the advertisement is illegal. 4. Or advertising of any illegal item. 5. Or he has to enter into an illegal contract. So it is not permissible to earn money through this and in such a case, if any income is earned from these advertisements, it should be given as charity.
