What is the purpose of creation of human beings in Islam?

  1. Allah made Adam, gave him knowledge and free will and then obliged him to worship him, as it is mentioned in the Holy Quran:

    And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me…. (51:56)

  2. Allah answers this in the Qur’a,”وماخلقت الجن والانس الا لیعبدون”I have created jinns and humans for my worship.

     

  3. Allah says in the:
    Quran – Surah No. 51 الذاريات
    Ayah No. 56

    أَعُوذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
    بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

    وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ الۡجِنَّ وَالۡاِنۡسَ اِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُوۡنِ (56)

    “And I did not create the Jinns and the human beings except that they should worship Me.”
