  1. In Islam, the husband is primarily responsible for providing for his family’s financial needs, including those of his wife and children. However, if the wife is working and earning income, Islam does not prohibit her from voluntarily contributing to the household expenses. The decision to share her earnings should be based on mutual consent and understanding between the spouses, as Islam promotes cooperation, mutual respect, and kindness within the family. The husband should not demand money from his wife’s earnings, but if she willingly chooses to contribute, it is seen as a virtuous act. Open and respectful communication about financial matters is encouraged, and any disputes or concerns can be addressed through guidance from religious authorities or counselors in accordance with Islamic principles.
