  1. In Islam, confession of sins can be done directly to Allah (SWT) without the need for a priest or intermediary. This is because Muslims believe that Allah (SWT) is All-Knowing, All-Seeing, and All-Hearing and therefore, Allah (SWT) knows all of our sins and secrets. Muslims are encouraged to confess their sins to Allah (SWT) sincerely, seek His forgiveness, and make a sincere intention to avoid repeating the same sin in the future. This act of confession is called “Tawbah” or “repentance.” It is a personal and private matter between the individual and Allah (SWT).
