Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal is one of the four Imams of fiqh in Sunni tradition. He is famous for his stance against ‘Mu’tazila’ (a movement in his time who were inspired by Greek Philosophy & Logic) and for his contribution to Hadith in the form of Musnad al Ahmad.
