The Quran mentions the names of several Sahabah (companions of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him), but it doesn’t mention all of them by name. One of the Sahabah who is explicitly mentioned in the Quran is Zaid ibn Harithah.
Zaid ibn Harithah is mentioned in Surah Al-Ahzab (The Confederates), specifically in verse 37 (33:37). In this verse, Allah refers to him as the Prophet’s adopted son and makes a point about the custom of adoption in early Islamic society.
It’s important to note that while some Sahabah are mentioned by name in the Quran, many others are not mentioned directly but are highly revered figures in Islamic history due to their close association with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The only Companion whose name is mentioned in the Qur’an is Zayd bin Harith (RA). His name is mentioned in Sura 33, verse 37.
