Quran is the primary source of islamic law however it is misunderstood without the hadith of Rasool ul allah (صلي الله عليه وسلم ) as these are the interpretations of the verses of the holy quran.
Mam Khadija, you should, instead, say that Quran and Hadith are the two primary sources of Islamic Law. There are other sources as Ijma, Qiyas, Istehsan etc. but they are all secondary sources.
