Allah sent Messengers to educate people about their well-being in this life and in the Hereafter, as well as to call them to worship Allah alone without associating partners with Him. Suratul-Baqarah, Ayah 213 means, “Allah sent Messengers with good tidings and warnings.” In the hadith related by al-Bukhariyy the Prophet, Sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said, “The best word uttered by me and the Prophets before me is, ‘No one is God except Allah.’ ”

imam, Arabic imām (“leader,” “model”), in a general sense, one who leads Muslim worshippers in prayer. In a global sense, imam is used to refer to the head of the Muslim community (ummah). The title is found in the Qurʾān several times to refer to leaders and to Ibraham(علیہ السلام)
