listening Music is Haram in Islam.whether its Ramadan or either some other islamic month
Music is a grey area according to Islamic theology. You don’t find a clear cut injunction whether or not it’s haram. Majority of the scholars believe that music especially heavy metal, pop, rock music create sensations in humans that eventually lead them toward sins. Zakir Naik opines that in music wo use lyrics that are absurd and based on lies. Therefore, one must steer clear of such stuff. The likes of Hamza Yusuf and Mufti Menk believe that there is no harm in listening to classical instrumental music.
No, you can not listen to music in Ramadan.
