The Voodoo religion originated in West Africa and spread to different parts of the Americas. Voodoo came to America when African slaves were brought to the Caribbean countries. Over time, Voodoo evolved alongside other religious beliefs, much like Catholicism. Voodoo shares common beliefs with other religions, such as belief in God. However, Voodoo is sometimes misunderstood because some of its practices are used by different religions.
On the other hand, Voodoo has its own traditions and practices. These spiritual practices are common in various communities and regions. Followers of Voodoo seek guidance, help from spirits, healing, protection, and solutions to life’s problems.
